M.Com (Master of Commerce)

The M.Com program is a postgraduate degree designed for students interested in advanced studies in commerce, finance, and business management. It provides in-depth knowledge of accounting, financial management, taxation, business laws, economics, and organizational behavior. The program is ideal for students who aim to develop a strong foundation in business concepts and prepare for leadership roles in financial institutions, corporate firms, or government organizations.

The M.Com curriculum includes core subjects such as Advanced Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Financial Markets, Business Environment, and Corporate Governance. Students also gain expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and research methods in commerce. In addition to theoretical knowledge, the program emphasizes practical application through case studies, internships, and research projects, ensuring students are well-prepared for careers in banking, accounting, insurance, consultancy, and financial analysis.

Graduates of M.Com often pursue professional certifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), or continue their studies with a Ph.D. in Commerce to enter academia or advanced research.
