The Placement Cell at SGM Polytechnic College ensures that maximum number of students get campus placement & the deserving candidates can get a decent platform to start their career. The T&P cell also ensures that the placements are of the right quality. The T&P cell aims to provide placement to 100% students.
The T&P Cell is active throughout the year. An increasing number of reputed companies are being contacted on a regular basis so that the students get more opportunities to appear for interviews in larger numbers of organizations and choose the best options regarding their placement in specific organizations.
The cell also searches extensively on various websites, newspapers and other sources of information to keep itself updated about brand image of different companies in different sectors, their HR policies, packages, working environment etc.
Corporate meets are organized at least twice a year. Such meetings help the corporate leaders to interact with the students and know about their aptitude, attitude, knowledge, personality, etc. that facilitates assessment of 'employability' of the students in respective organizations.
